Bra Care
Washing
- Wash all new intimate apparel before wearing
- Handwashing is the safest way to wash your intimates using a delicate soap, specifically formulated for lingerie (such as Forever New, Soak, Body Soap, or Baby Shampoo)
- If it is necessary to machine wash, wash on a cold, gentle cycle using a zippered lingerie bag (remember to fasten hooks)
- ECO TIP: Shower with your bra or other delicates! Wash with your body soap and rinse well.
Drying
- Air dry only
- Dryer heat can cause the elastic to break down and cause shrinkage and discolouration
Storing
- Lay gently in a drawer, front side up
- Do not fold your bra cups into one another
Wearing
- Try to have a minimum of three basic bras so that they do not wear out prematurely (one to wear, one to wash and one to alternate)
- Try not to wear your bras two days in a row
- Rotating your bras will help reduce stretching and fabric weakening
